Fife's Coastal Fringe

Fife has an amazing coastline and the best way to experience it is by walking it's famous Coastal Path. While the majority of the path is in private ownership, the Trust is responsible for maintaining, developing and promoting it. The Coastal Path waymarker marks the route while the website www.fifecoastalpath.co.uk keeps walkers updated.

The Trust's headquarters at in award winning 17th Century Harbourmaster's House in Dysart was refurbished as part of a £1 million redeveopment project and also includes Fife's first Coastal Centre.

But our work doesn't stop there, we have also been involved in several other projects such as the replacement of the coastal path signage at the coastal railway stations, various types of path improvement and our Clean Team, which supports and encourages local communities to tidy up beaches and other areas along the coastal path.
