Strathmiglo Community Woodland

The Ranger Service worked with the community and landowners to install a link between Strathmiglo village and the community woodland.  The project aims were to put a path into the woodland that made access easier for local people of all abilities. Work to improve the woodland structure that will benefit wildlife will also take place and will include local people and groups such as Strathmiglo Community Council, Air Cadets and Strathmiglo Community Association. Funding for the project comes from Fife Council, Fife Environment Trust, Scottish Forest Grant Scheme and Scottish Natural Heritage.
