Meet the Marvellous Moths

With around 1500 species of moth in Scotland alone, we think moths are truly marvellous!

There is a hidden world waiting to be discovered as we join local moth expert Duncan and our conservation officer Cristín to reveal the wide range of moths that have been caught in our trap overnight.

You can get up close and personal to some of these fascinating little creatures, to learn about their life cycle. Also find out why we survey moths and why they are so important to biodiversity.

Remember to bring weather appropriate clothing as this event will take place outside!

Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, has free parking, public toilets and a cafe.

The event is being run as part of the Wellbeing Through Heritage in Dunfermline project
