Fife Nature Records Centre (FNRC) is the centre of reference for information relating to the biodiversity of the Kingdom of Fife, including over 325,000 species records, details of more than 150 sites designated for their natural heritage value and information on habitats. This information has been gathered by local and national organisations, professionals and members of the public. FNRC plays an active role in the protection of local wildlife by making this information available to a variety of individuals and organisation to assist with development planning, research and conservation.
